ARTWORKS

BY DELANEY GIBBONS

About The Project

"This collection of work can be viewed as an homage to language – spoken, written, and body. By exploring multiple interpretations of “home,” perhaps we are challenged to consider our preconceptions about the universe and our role in it."

Delaney Gibbons is an artist and writer based in Ames, Iowa. Her work spans illustration, design, comics, visual essays, editorial narrative, and poetry. She likes to create autobiographical work that explores nature, existence, and joy and grief side by side, but with a good dose of humor. Her comics and essays have recently appeared in Modern Women, Human Parts, The Belladonna Comedy, and Jane Austen’s Wastebasket. View more at delaneygibbons.com.
