The 2017 Peseroff Prize Poetry Contest


We're excited to announce the 2017 Peseroff Prize Poetry Contest, to be judged by Jill McDonough!

  • The winner will receive a $1,000 prize and publication.

  • All finalists will be offered publication in our fall issue.

  • $10 submission fee for up to 3 poems.

  • Deadline: May 15. Winners will be announced September 2017.

2014 Lannan Fellowship and three-time Pushcart prize winner, Jill McDonough is the author of Habeas Corpus (Salt, 2008), Oh, James! (Seven Kitchens, 2012), Where You Live (Salt, 2012) and the forthcoming Reaper (Alice James, 2017). The recipient of fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Fine Arts Work Center, the New York Public Library, the Library of Congress, and Stanford’s Stegner program, she teaches poetry at UMass-Boston and directs 24PearlStreet, the online writing program at the Fine Arts Work Center.
